At Hamilton Woods, we focus on building lasting relationships and delivering a service rooted in integrity. As a Candidate Consultant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our recruitment operations, engaging with candidates, and ensuring a smooth, professional experience throughout the process.

What you’ll be doing

In this varied and fast-paced role, you will support our consultants and candidates by:

• Identifying leads for new business and passing them to the wider team.
• Writing compelling job adverts and posting them across leading job boards.
• Completing regular update calls with registered and placed candidates.
• Carrying out thorough reference checks.
• Registering new candidates and ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
• Assisting with compliance checks, including right to work, proof of address, proof of NI, and other relevant documentation.
• Reviewing advert responses and speaking with candidates about active roles.
• Making recommendations to consultants on newly available talent and matching candidates to suitable clients.
• Supporting with CV formatting prior to client submission.
• Maintaining “hotlists” of active candidates ready for new opportunities.
• Completing driving licence checks where required.
